| Windows 7 Home Premium x64, Windows 8 Proffesional x64, Windows XP Proffesional x64, Ubuntu 12.10 | Cannot open Hard Drive!  My external hard drive cannot be read on my 7 PC but can be identified on my XP.  When I right click it, it says "Explore" in dark grey, but "Properties" is recognizing it only as a USB device. Help will be appreciated! |

| | You probably need to assign it a Drive Letter via disk management for it to be recognized by the system. |
