Hello vett,

From Logitech's website below, it appears this applies to both Vista and Windows 7 for the mx500 mouse.

Support + Downloads: MX 500 Optical Mouse - Logitech

Quote:
This device uses the native drivers when used with Microsoft Vista™. If you do not have Vista, please select another operating system from the dropdown list above.

This product originally shipped with either iTouch or MouseWare, which are not compatible with Vista. We strongly recommend to uninstall iTouch and/or MouseWare prior to migrating to Windows Vista. After iTouch and MouseWare are uninstalled, the basic functionality of your devices will be provided by the Windows native driver.

Nope. That quote above from Logitech says that there are no compatible drivers available for Vista, and naturally Windows 7 as well.

Basically, you're stuck having to use the generic drivers Windows 7 installed for them. They will work fine for the basic operation of the mouse, but you may not be able to use any special features of the mouse.
