Where Are Webcam Load Screens Stored?
I have a webcam installed on my computer. If I load a chat program without my webcam on, it displays a splash screen stating to "Please Launch The Webcam...etc."
I want to replace this splash screen with a custom PNG file that I will create in Photoshop (IE: something that might say "loading" or "please wait").
I have checked ALL the folders (both in the Program Files and hidden folders) of the brand of camera I have. I found the PNG file of the splash screen that is normally displayed, however, editing it does not change it in the chat program. This leads me to to believe the actual splash screen is stored somewhere else on my system, possibly having to do with Internet Explorer.
Does anyone know where else these types of files would be stored on your system when it comes to a webcam? I need to locate it to edit them.
