Mouse keeps freezing

I don't know what is causing this but my mouse keeps freezing(USB).It doesn't happen in windows xp and i have tried various nforce drivers for my motherboard.I have to ctrl+alt+delete then go to log off and the cursor moves again.I don't think it should matter but the mouse is an OCZ behemoth.Has anyone else came across this problem? my windows 7 version is the latest RTM.

Cheers

  1. Fill in your system specs
  2. Are you running the OCZ drivers or generic Windows drivers?
  3. Do you have advanced profiles set up for the mouse?
  4. Does hitting just the ALT 2-4 times make it work again?

Apologies for the delay in replying.I have filled out my system specs. The OCZ has no drivers per say,it only has a program where you can change profiles,DPI level and USB report rate.I thought it may have been because of the report rate.Even though i use the same settings in xp and have no problems but it still occurs.I have noticed lots of problems in terms of usb, sometimes my usb wireless starts with windows with an error.I have to disable and enable it so it will work. And sometimes my mouse freezes also when i boot into windows.I again need to log off with my keyboard for it to start again or unplug it and plug it back in.Again, absolute no problems with Xp.
