Smart Hard Disk in iminent failure

Hello, I went to HP tech for help with this issue and after finding whats wrong with my hp laptop, he then proceeded to tell me it would cost $200. I need to know Most Importantly how to fix my registry, it showed 589 errors. I can not go back past October 1, 2012 and Id like to go back to January 2012..would that fix it? how can i do this or what do i do..Thank you all soooo much, Pamela

If your hard drive has SMART error then it is failing and needs to be replaced. Back up your personal files ASAP to an external drive.
Then buy a New drive and install it.
