2h of battery just disappeared...

About 3 months ago (or so), my laptop used to be able to run on battery for at min 3h. About a month ago, I noticed, about 1,5 hours of battery life has just disappeared magically... Now, my laptop only manages to run on battery for about 1 hour or so with battery saving setting turned on. What happened to my battery? How could it have worn of so fast. My laptop is 1.5 years old. Sometimes i forget to take out the battery when it is fully charged, how ever, battery never gets hot, so, as I know, it should not wear of that fast, especially in ~1 month period...

It sounds like the battery is starting to fail. Sometimes, a cell or a few cells go bad, and that drastically reduces the capacity of the battery.

What Causes Lithium-Ion Batteries to Age......

Actually there maybe several but i knew few of them.

1) High voltage and Overcharge
Laptops typically have a charge threshold, which prevents overcharging and high voltage. However, constantly keeping the battery at a full charge also is a stress factor that contributes to aging.
2) Heat
Room temperature (21°C / 70°F) or higher temperatures promote chemical reactions, ultimately causing Li-Ion batteries to lose capacity.
3) Low Temperatures
Temperatures below 0°C (32°F) can damage materials inside the battery.
4) Prolonged Storage
Li-Ion batteries self-discharge at a rate of approximately 8% per month at 21°C (70°F). This increases with higher temperatures. When stored over long periods of time, the battery can reach a state of deep discharge (charge below 20%).
5) Physical Shocks
Batteries can break.
