L2 Cache Question
According to CPUz and SiW, my proc has an L2 Cache of 4 (cores) x 256KBytes.
For tweaking purposes, is that a 256k cache or a 1mg cache?
Thanks in advance....

That would be 1MB of L2 cache. Hope this helps.
(This is if it's a 4 core CPU)

What tweaking purposes? Whatever it is, I can assure you those "tweaks" are meaning less.
Intel® Core™ i7-920 Processor (8M Cache, 2.66 GHz, 4.80 GT/s Intel® QPI)
Something is wrong with this picture.
And the tweak is meaning less.
On a Core i7 920, the 8 MB cache is L3. 1 MB of L2 is divided up among the 4 cores. However it should only be calculated as 256 KB not as 1 MB. There is only 256 KB of L2 not 1 MB, if (and only if) the L2 was shared among the cores then you could.
