Windows 7: i have an initialization problem with my lg external 1 tb hard drive

hello everyone i am having problem with my external hard drive initialization .the real problem is that when i try to initialize it through computer management utility it show me an error "cyclic redundancy error"

it had worked day before well.now in every intervals of two minutes it vibrates and gives a sound of spinning disk and gives a tic-tic sound, indicator also glows at certain intervals........ can any geek have capacity of solving this problem >>>>>>>>????
