Having some wierd things happen on my rig....

Hi all!
As title says i am having some weird things happen on my rig!
1) Cpu sitting at 49% usage constantly.
2) Browser wont save Any alterations (software but yea)
3) my SSD seems to be acting up too! goes like the clappers when it wants to but otherwise barely faster than a HDD (so it seems to me) ATTO score still at 523.

Comp is virus and malware free, so im wondering if its a dodgy piece of software.. recently installed: palemoon x64 (removed), Malwarebytes, Steam (start on demand, not start up), and VMware workstation and World of Warcraft (don't judge me! never played before!!) anyway before i Installed that list of stuff it started acting up... I'm out of idea's. so any thoughts? i'm starting to think its a Hardware issue, damn this new tech!

Cheers peeps!

Makes me think of driver issues from a bad install. Does Device Manager indicate any problem devices (yellow triangles) when run with Admin permissions and Hidden devices visible?

I would;
  • Run chkdsk to scan for corrupted windows files.
  • Run through the installed program section and uninstall old unused programs.
  • Try CCleaner and scan for registry errors.

Touchpad scrolling - weird things happen
I had a problem with choosing the right category for my topic, because I don't really know whether is something wrong with my touchpad or is the driver broken or maybe something else entirely. Let me start by saying, that I updated the driver for my touchpad using the newest one from Synaptics (old...

Do you ever think about things that are gonna happen in the future ?
Like over anticipating the future, I know it's due to my anxiety but sometimes I'm always think about what's going to happen tomorrow or next week or some event. Sometimes I just can't seem to live in the moment now, I know as that saying goes, there's no time like the present and life is lived in...

Aero works, but weird things happen
I activated Aero and tried it out. Love the looks of it, but once I had it running I noticed that everytime I'd come back into the system from a display power down (from Screen Saver), the desktop would slow down to a crawl. I thought at first it was locked up but I saw the mouse cursor was still...

Hey all. I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64 RTM (<3 my MSDN membership) a couple of days back. Everything has worked fine, with a few quirks (like some additional tweaking needed for apps that have shell extensions), but thats it. I even have games and software that aren't working for other...
