    3d monitor/tv (32" or over)

As title really,I'm looking for either a 3d monitor or tv.Preferably a tv as I can't understand how monitors are so expensive for what they are. What are the main things to look for in the specs as in refresh rate etc?Am i right in thinking that a 3d tv would have the refresh rate needed for gaming as 3d needs it to produce a 3d image? My 50" samsung is a 120hz and is seamless when gaming.I'm new to monitors as iv'e always had laptops or just used my tv for my ps3/xbox.I no I could just do a quick google search for all this, but Iv'e got a massive dose of man flu and am feeling very sorry for myself..Thanks for reading.(Iv'e got about £300 maybe a little bit more so any ideas for maybe above 32")I should say that this is going to be a 2nd screen mainly for movies/gaming.

Computer monitors cost more because they use denser pixels (physically smaller) for closer viewing. TVs are designed for being farther away thus have larger physical sizes which are easier to manufacture.

Ah a nice an simple answer cheers mate.I've got an eye problem that means I need to be at least 3 feet away from screens for any prolonged period. So it looks like I can either save a few pennies or go upto a 42",ah the choices.
