My router is a Virgin superhub and as this is in a room at one end of the house and my computer in a room at the other end of the house the signal was a bit iffy at times.Solved that problem by installing a devolo powerline which works great and boosts the signal up to top grade.The present problem is that sometimes,albeit rarely,when I switch the computer on it fails to find the devolo internet connection even though it is in the top position in "network selection".If I then go through the routine of switching off the powerline amplifier,wait a few seconds ,when I switch back on then contact is established between devolo and computer.Is there anyway of avoiding this nuisance?.
