New Comp won't boot up!!!
Hey everyone
Built my first computer this summer. It was working good. Then problems started happening.
First: The computer would freeze every time I would play any games or videos off the internet.
Second: Now, I can't even get the thing to boot up. I press the power button. The fans and lights turn on in the case but with in a few seconds it restarts its self. It will continue this cycle until I hit the switch on the power supply. Thats the only way to make it stop.
Here is my system hardware
Case: Cooler Master HAF-X
Mother Board : Msi X79A-GD65 (8D)
CPU: Intel i7 3820
RAM: Corsair Dominator GT CMT16GX3M4X2133C9
GPU: Two XFX FX-797A-TDBC Radeon HD 7970 Black Edition
Power Supply: Ultra 1200w
Hard Drive: Patriot PP240GS25SSDR Pyro 240GB
Hard Drive: Seagate ST1000DM003 Barracuda 1TB
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100
Its all new gear. Built it to get back into computer gaming (aka Diablo 3). Sucks having to play D3 on my older Asus laptop on ultra low settings.
Hope someone has some ideas for me. I have not considered getting a different motherboard. I have read about others having issues with the MSI board. Wanted to get some experienced help first before sending $500 on a new board.
Thanks
