    Hey
I've had windows 7 64bit installed on my PC and I converted one drive to bitlocker drive, it was working fine

and today after windows went crashing I've freshly installed windows7 64 bit enterprise
but I cannot find my bitlocker drive
it appears on the disk management as unallocated!!

    any ideas?

Where/wheir do you get your copy of Windows 7 Enterprise and what method did you use to install it?
Have you consulted your IT Department?

It needed to be unlocked from the prior system first ( but you couldn`t ) as it was linked to it.

I had this copy on a DVD, and I used it as fresh installation by formatting the C Drive (no the bitlocker of course) then I installed it
and no I did not consult my IT
    it is my personal pc
I already know the password and I read that the drive using bitlocker can be accessed through any other system
    isn't that right !

Their/there seem to be a misunderstanding.
    --------------------------
    Windows 7 Enterprise
This edition targets the enterprise segment of the market and is sold through volume licensing to companies which have a Software Assurance contract with Microsoft.[1] Additional features include support for Multilingual User Interface (MUI) packages, BitLocker Drive Encryption, and UNIX application support.[1] Not available through retail or OEM channels, this edition is distributed through Microsoft Software Assurance (SA).[1] As a result it includes several SA-only benefits, including a license allowing the operating of diskless nodes (diskless PCs), the running of multiple virtual machines, and activation via VLK

Their/there should be a COA sticker on the computer. That will indicate what Windows 7 would be legal to install as long as it is not being used on another system. Do not post the number on that sticker. Read this it should help.

    Then you can do this.

While you are doing all the reading give this a run through and I think it will help.

My answer is clear. Windows Enterprise in not a operating system you can buy legally at a retail store or things like Ebay. Before your problem can be solved a legal copy of Windows 7 must be installed and validated.
That is why in post#5 their/there is this.

That is why in post #7 I gave you method to install a legal copy of Window 7 so you could continue on to solve your problem.
That is also why I post the rules in post #7 that explains our rules.
That is why in post #2 I asked where/wheir you got your copy of Windows 7 Enterprise.
Many things including bit locker could stop working properly if the Windows 7 is not legal.
