[Errors]BD-Combo Drive working but NOT recognized

Hey,

Around a year and 2 months ago i bought a Samsung Optical Disk Drive (ODD SUPPORT)(it is the SH-B123L) and it still works fine and everything physically, But in windows there appears to be something wrong. ill flow through things that i have noticed...

  • It can not be seen or accessed or seen (identified) inside a user
  • It can however be seen from startup where it shows all the devices
  • It can be used as a boot device
  • Shown in BIOS
  • Labeled as "Not Available" at startup
These are all the things that i have noticed... I dont know what it is but it happened to me before where i had my computer taken in to get fixed and the day after it came to the same problem again. I don't know what it is and how to fix it if it can be fixed... At first i thought its either power or something wrong with the sata port... but then I opened and closed it which (i think) means it has power... Then i noticed it listed on startup as not available soo i thought "Its recognizable here so its probably working in the port". Soo i dont know how to look at it right now. Any Assistance is very much needed here and i am most thankful for it.

Thanks,
Mattrhorn
