Windows 7: How to remove/unmount iso install file from USB stick

Amateur alert!



I reinstalled win 7, downloaded the install iso file and mounted/ran it from usb stick. Successfully.

But now the usb stick cant be used for anything else. Content wont be deleted. Is there a guide somewhere to unmount/delete the content so the usb can be used for "normal" things again?

Does the drive show up in My Computer when you plug it in?

Did you try formatting it?

If you had tried to format it and it cannot be formatted, what error message do you get?

Can you please put out a screenshot of Disk Management with the pendrive plugged in?

EDIT: Also curious to know which program you used to write the bootable ISO to the pendrive.

Right click on computer goto manage, storage, disk management; once that has loaded you can try right clicking on the USB drive and formatting it
