    XBOX 360 Controller problem?

    hello everyone!

I just bought a 360 controller for my pc.now my problem is when I try to use left or right analog stick in up or down direction,it goes diagonally by very small margin.so far this haven't affected my gaming experience at all but I don't know if it is a problem or not? I have other controller that does not behave like this.

I just don't understand that it is problem or it is the way 360 controller work.in games like devil may cry 4,when I try to move my character up or down then the character moves to diagonal direction very slightly but when i use my keyboard or other controller,it works fine.

    should I ask for replacement?

If replacement is free including shipping it would not hurt. However i was having similar issues. If you installed the controller using an included cd that would be the cause. I had a similar issue with mine when i used the included CD and the xbox controller software. Both caused serious problems ingame and outside of it. My advice uninstall the driver via device manager and any software included with your controller. BTW what kind of USB port are you using and are you running windows 8 7 vista or XP.

yes.replacement is totally free for me since controller is fairly new.

I have tried everything from calibrating the device to installing new drivers but still I have that feeling of diagonal direction! that really haven't affected my gaming but if it is a problem then I should get the replacement right?

I have windows 7 64 bit and USB 2.0 ports.
