{PROBLEM} I can't use keyboard and mouse in BIOS

Hello SF Members! :)

Now, I'm back from long holiday, and have to ask something and have problem.
Like title say : I can't use keyboard and mouse in BIOS.

That problem start some days ago. Before this there wasn't any problem, all worked very well. But yesterday, when I entered in BIOS, mouse cursor is at bottom, and can't move it, and keyboard don't work (I can use mouse and keyboard in BIOS)...

How to fix that problem ?

Motherboard is ASUS P8H61-M LX2.

The first thing I would try is a CLRTC or hard reset.

Legacy CLRTC Procedure

Note all your current BIOS settings
Shut down the computer > remove the power cord.
Remove the 3v battery.
Move the CLRTC jumper from pins 1-2 to 2-3.
Touch a metal part of the case and Press and Hold the reset button for approx. 30 seconds to discharge all power from the board.
Put the CLRTC jumper back on pins 1-2.
Replace the 3v battery > replace the power cord > boot.
Immediately go back into BIOS and reset all your preferred settings. If the CLRTC worked you will need to reset the date and time.

From your motherboard's web page, it seems we don't need to remove the battery anymore. YMMV.

I can do this, thank you for idea. But what about my BIOS settings ?
How to save/write that if I can't navigate in BIOS ?

That is UEFI BIOS type, and I need to enter in advanced mode to see all settings.
Is there any way without clearing CMOS ?

Your UEFI BIOS will normally have drivers for these devices stored in the hidden System partition on you GPT formatted hard disk.
Have you made any changes to your HDD, created or deleted partitions, or formatted it?

Does your keyboard & mouse work in Windows? Is this a problem only in BIOS?

The Clear CMOS procedure will reset all the BIOS settings to default, the condition they were in when you first got the computer. This is easier done from inside the BIOS but you can't do it that way.
There is normally no problem with the system working or Windows starting after a BIOS reset. But because this is the new UEFI BIOS (which I do not have) I can't tell you this with my normal level of certainty.

I will see if anyone on the forum has done this.
