Windows 7: Problem detecting thumbdrive

Problem detecting thumbdrive
Here is my problem:
  1. I plug in my thumbdrive and it wont show up in My Computer.
  2. Tried on friends computer, my thumbdrive works.
  3. Tried different thumbdrive on my computer, it works too.
  4. Used my friends computer to format my thumbdrive but it still doesn't show up in my computer.

Anyone got a solution for this?
