What to do with these RAM?
I wasn't sure where to place this thread.
I have 4 RAM sticks (whatever) and was thinking of installing some of them in my pc to boost performance. I'm unsure if they're compatible.
The system info page says this: Installed memory (RAM): 4.00 GB (2.99 GB usable)
Do I even need to install more and how do I check if they're compatible?

Typically is a bad idea to mix memory.
Timings are usually found on stickers on the modules.
Tbh save yourself the headache and do not install them.
The chances of them matching perfectly is slim.

That's a great little thing you have going there, I updated my system specs.
So should I not persue this idea, is it not worth the improvement?

Since you have a 32-bit processor, it can only use 4 GB of RAM, so any additional would be a waste.

Like Big Mck has posted that is all a 32 bit system can handle. Are you having any other problems you need help with? We aim to please.
If it was me it would be time to save up for a new system and Windows 7 64 bit.

Not at the moment thanks.
What do I have to do to upgrade to 64 bit?

You can't upgrade from a 32 to 64 bit Windows 7. You have to do a clean install.
Read through all of this and you should have a good idea what is needed.

You first have to find out if your motherboard can handle 64-bit programs. Since yours is kind of old, I am not sure if it can or not.
