Hello, I was researching RAM for a build I am planning to buy this Black Friday (Can't wait
) and I noticed that I found some really cheap RAM and I don't know if this is a unreliable pos, or if this is a genuinely good find.
I know that lower CAS latency, higher frequency, and if you want your computer to run cooler, a lower voltage will make for nice ram.
This is the RAM I came across: Newegg.com - Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model BLS2KIT4G3D1609DS1S00
For the most part (85%) of the reviews are 5 eggs, and it is $10 off with a promo code. Is there any reason I shouldn't buy these?
Also, I am going to be getting the Sabertooth Z77 motherboard and an i7 3770 and I was curious if anyone could tell me if this RAM is compatible with my planned setup.
