why my windows not using my maximum ram memory installed?
i've just inserted 8 gb ram in my computer, with a windows 7 64 bit, but when the windows running, it showing only 3.16 gb ram usable, but on the bios it showing the maximum memory 8gb well, i've even reduced the memory to 4 gb, but still on the bios it showing well, but on windows its showing only 3.16 gb usable. please can someone reply me back how can i make the windows use the maximum memory installed.
