Hello! I have the same sound card, SBLive! 5.1 and find a solution installing the following drivers

Search Results for "SBL5DL_DRVPACK_LB.exe" in File Mirrors - FindFiles.com

once download

1- right click on file, click on proporties and compatibility tab.
2- check "Run this program in compatibiliy mode for:" select Windows XP SP3.
3- then, install normally the drivers.

Now I have sound and everything works perfect!!!

Welcome to the Forums IOx. That seems to be a good solution, also based on this other thread, thanks: No sound in Windows 7

I tried IOx's solution and after it started installing a message came up that said 'Setup could not detect any Sound Blaster Audio Card on your system.

L&B, MRK, please confirm if:
- you ran the installation under admin priviledges
- you tried Vista compatibility mode

good job filling in complete specs L&B

What Audigy? Is it a SE/LS/DE/Value variant, or from the 1/2/4 series of cards? The drivers for the first won't work with the second and vice versa.

i tried to run it in vista compatible mode but i was given the same error again. This is the card i have

Creative Worldwide Support > Sound Blaster Audigy.

I tried that driver with vista compatibility but it wasn't happy with it either. i don't have on board sound either right now for some reason.

i tried the first driver on that list. Should i try the vista ones and run them in vista compatibility mode?

Seeing as you now have a massive amount of driver files all over the place, let's find out exactly which card you have before trying any more drivers. Pull the card and find the model number on it, it will look like SBxxxx (or if it is really old CTxxxx).
