I have no DMA in my IDE/ATA ATAPT Controller. What can I do?

My laptop really runs slow. The performance report suggests turning on DMA. When I looked for it in Device Manager, there was none. The only thing under the IDE was Intel ICH 9M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller. There is nothing under properties about DMA. What can I do? When I ask for updates from Windows there is nothing in there about that.

I have a Presario CQ62 Notebook PC
