If that fails to work you could try the following:

I was able to solve AutoPlay issue. My PC was not detecting iphone when I plug it in to computer though itune was able to. So I did two things to resolve it, worked for me, try, may work for you as well.

It may also be a good idea to read the comments in the link *source* as it has some good possible solutions not listed in this thread.
If trying the above method don't forget to check the control panel to see if the autoplay option shows up now.
It seems to solve the problem you would need to uninstall the device
driver via the device manager and then reinstall it, corrupt driver it seems so I would try
this step 5 but if enabling it doesn't work. I'd uninstall the driver and then restart my computer. Just remember to leave you iPhone plugged in throughout uninstalling the driver and reinstalling the driver.
