| | Question on Memory I just got me a hot deal on a new laptop. It is a Core i5 that comes with 6 GB of RAM. It has a 4 and a 2 stick. The fact that the channels are uneven, does that do anything to hinder the performance of the laptop? Thanks, |

| | No, it will not affect performance if they are the same speed, timing, etc. Intel processors have what is called Flex Mode, that allows miss-match capacities to function under Dual-Channel Mode. |
