I am just curious what or who is using my Drive Letter D ?

Is there a ninja or something using my Favorite Drive Letter ?
I cannot use it nor change it

But I cannot see it on Disk Management .


I am just curious what going on with my Favorite Letter

Drive D is normally your DVD/CD player.

yeah, but that's called "local disk", not DVD drive.

I suspect it's a broken remnant of some USB device driver, follow the advice on this post to reset that.

Did you ever figure out how drive D changed in the first place? What caused the problem?
