CPU fan making loud noise

This problem occurred to me recently, as everytime i boot up my computer, the CPU fan makes a very loud noise and i can see the motherboard having a LED blinking orange. It's gone after a restart of the computer. The problem is starting to concern me, help is needed

What happened to me one is that the CPU fan's mounting came loose and was not stable. Check to see if everything looks secure on it.

Did you make any changes prior to this problem showing up? For example, did you add hardware, did you have your hands inside the case for cleaning, did you try to overclock the CPU?

If the fan is causing the noise you could if you are mechanically savy remove the fan, peel back the label on the fan and add a couple of drops of light machine oil (such as for sewing machines) to loosen up the fan bearings. Do not use WD40 etc. Computer must be shut down when you try this, take note of the orientation of the fan blades. If not you will need a new fan or cooler assemble. I have repaired the fan on my several years old chat rig successfully.
Never operate a machine without the heatsink and fan in place or you will let out the magic smoke.

'the CPU fan makes a very loud noise'

Do you mean it throttles / runs at high speeds? then I agree with the earlier post.. check the heatsink mounting bracket, these are normally made from fairly cheap plastics and I have seen many of them snap on one side.. also check the connection from fan to board and if removing the heatsink also check the integrity of the thermal paste between chip and bottom of heatsink..
