Need explanation on Memory Management in Windows 7
Ok so I know what physical and virtual memory are but I just need some clarification on how windows 7 manages them.
Cached Memory- What is this caching? Helps access what quicker? Applications?
Also does Windows 7 have everything begin in physical memory to start with and then moves it to virtual when it is getting low? If so how low does it need to be before it swaps to the hard disk?
