| | Win 7 do not display an external usb hard drive disk Well, i've just bought a new ITB Toshiba SATA 2.5" HDD for my ps3, as i need to make a backup of my old ps3 hdd, I bought a case to make the hdd external, but when i conect the hdd to the case and my pc, Windows pop's up a mesage teling me that mi Generic external usb drive is ready to use. However, when I check my pc menu it does not displays the HDD, also, the disk manager does not display it, but i can see it on the device manager under the disk units. i'm shure the hdd works as i've taste it on a Notebook. |
