HDD not appearing in Windows Explorer

I just got a 1TB WD Blach HDD, and I plugged it in fine but it's not showing up in Computer. Going into Disk Management shows an unnamed HDD with that amount of space, so it's detecting it but not as a location that I can save things to. My last resort is using it as my sole HDD and re-downloading everything, but my intention was to use this new 1TB one with my original 350GB HDD. Any ideas?

Have you tried formatting it? (if it was empty, don't do it if it was full)

Can you clarify? what did you do here?

Can you post a screenshot of disk management? how to post screenshots here

Well what I did is leave my old 350GB HDD where it was and connect the new one to another SATA port. I figured I could use them both at once.

Here's a screen of disk management. The DVD is just a driver for my monitor ( which I'm having some trouble with too, but that's for another time).

Looks like there is no partition on it. Was it like this since when you first connected it?

If yes, you must create a new partition on it (or more than one, if you want to keep it more tidy) if you want to use it. This tutorial tells you how.

If you had data on that already and it became like that just out of the blue, it's another matter.

EDIT: Ah, nevermind then. Glad you fixed on your own.
