Change icon for printer to a different icon

I installed a wireless laser printer. To install...you must connect locally with a USB cable to enter the wireless network's password. This process installed a printer locally and the associated icon was the correct icon. I then set it up wirelessly and when it completed...the icon looked like a fax machine.

The icon I want to use exists somewhere.
    1) How do I tell what icon is being used for a device
    2) How do I specify the icon I want to use for a device.

    Thanks
    Keith

The simplest way is to right-click on the printer icon and choose Properties. Then look for a "Customize" tab at the top of that box. At the bottom of the Customize tab is a "Change Icon" button. That will open up a box with several preinstalled icons and hopefully what you are looking for will be in there. Make sure you scroll all the way to the right because there are SEVERAL icons in there.

    In short: Right-click icon>Properties>Customize Tab>Change Icon button
