Hard drive wipe -- dban

I have a hard drive that I need to wipe clean. A few years ago, someone gave me a copy of dban (daricks boot and nuke) that worked great, but I've lost it. I can get a copy on cnet.com but cant get it ti work. I download the iso file and burn it to disk, but it wont run. Any suggestions ??

See if this helps,

Do you have your disc drive set to boot first?

You can also place it in a USB flash drive with YUMI and boot the computer from that (hint: disconnect the computer's main hard drives to avoid erasing them if you do something wrong).
