My laptop won't detect my external drive- please help

Hello,

Please help...

I have my external drive, I am connecting to my computer but its not detecting.

I have HP probook 6455b, window 7 laptop.

What should I Do?

See if it's showing up in Disk Mgmt. You might need to assign it a letter.

Have you tried rebooting?

See if it's detected to run Partition Wizard Check File System on it.
