Left Mouse Click working too fast

My Left Mouse Click is working too fast .I have installed the latest drivers even with speed slowed down in control panel mouse works too fast when clicked once it acts as if double click. Is there any solution for this my earlier mouse acted the same way then I had to change it. But now this new Logitech mouse m100 is working same way only few months old.

Sounds like it in the settings of the mouse software not the actual mouse itself. I would recheck the settings of the mouse and reset to default and reboot.

    Hi Gautam S,

Same issue with 2 different mice indicates an issue with the software/settings. Please take a glance at the mouse configuration settings and see if that helps: Change mouse settings

If the issue persists, try using the mouse with a new 'user account': Create a user account

Hope this helps. Do reply if you have any further questions. I would be glad to assist.

Indeed, there are mouses with hardware bug that click twice instead of single. Nevertheless, the problem may occur in Windows system drivers. To check it, google for free open source project ""The Windows Intel Fastest Mouse Clicker". That application uses modern SendInput() system call instead of obsolete mouse_event() in fastclicker. Also "The Windows Intel Fastest Mouse Clicker" is heavily optimized with Intel C/C++ compiler 15.0.

Select low mouse click rate in the application and press a trigger key ('Enter' is default). If you see the DOUBLE click rate, obviously bug you mentioned resides in Windows drivers, otherwise - in your mouse hardware device.
