Xbox wireless receiver

    The disc that came with it could be out of date now as i had similar issue's using an old disc on my daughters pc last week. Windows directed me to download a newer version which you can download here Software Downloads: Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows

    Once installed if it does'nt pair up straight away. Then do as you did before in device manager.

    thanks for the help, but i have already tried that, i said i have used the latest drivers from microsoft, and i tried using the drivers on the disc as well, even after i installed these i tried the device manager once again but both did not work.

    Sorry i missed that you had used the latest drivers. I thought you had only used the one on the disc.
    Perhaps someone else could share some light on it.
