Monitor Backlight Broken?

Today while I was using my computer like normal, my computer's brightness suddenly darkened. As this had happened before, I went to the Windows brightness troubleshooter/editor. Then my computer's screen completely blacked out. I have determined that it is the backlight. With my lamp on, I can still see the screen, icons, and what's happening in a corner of the monitor. Anyone know how I can fix/replace the backlight?
