Windows 7 64bit

NFTS Or FAT32

Hello,

Running the 64 bit version of Windows 7 on a 3 yr old HP Desktop.

Went to Amazon to buy a new External HD.

Guess I have a choice of two flavors: FAT32 or NFTS.

Have no idea what is in my Desktop now, but guess this new external one should be the same ?
True ?

BTW: How would I check which it is ?

So, which should I order, please ?

Thanks,
Bob

NFTS is the current one. I don't think you would want FAT32. If you want to see what you have now, go to your Disk Management and it will tell you.
