Windows Error, Possible RAM issue?

I have had this problem for a while now and resorted to using my laptop to avoid having to fix it but i can't let such a powerful machine go to waste. Over two months ago my operating system just crashed and has been doing so endlessly since this first happen. I get a "Windows Explorer error" and an unable to use my computer and have to force a reboot. I was told this could potentially be a RAM issue, i use 4 x 4GB sticks so is there a simple way to check to see if the RAM i am using is faulty?
