Mic stops working 2-10 minutes into video call / C310 Webcam - Skype
C310 WebCam, purchased new Jan 15 2013
Logitech Webcam Software 2.51, Build 13.51.828
Computer: Windows 7 Pro, 8 GB RAM, 2.83 GHZ, Intel 2 Quad Q9550 CPU
Zone Alarm - most recent version, Avast - most recent version and updates
Connection: 9 MBPS down, 3.5 MBPS up
This only recently started, it seems to have coincided with a recent Windows update but maybe I am just guessing. During Skype calls, The microphone "self mutes" itself / stops working after approximately 2 to 10 minutes into a video call. It works initially the first one to two minutes. That is the strange part.
ATTEMPTED UNSUCCESSFUL SOLUTIONS ON MY PART:
Changed USB Ports
Uninstalled and reinstalled Logitech software and camera along with system reboots
Ran camera off basic Windows 7 camera drivers
Killed Zone Alarm
Flushed Cache and turned router and computer off for 30 minutes and rebooted everything
CC Cleaner and Disk Cleanup, reboot
Adjusted Skype audio options to NOT automatically adjust mic settings (as discussed in some other threads with similar issue)......then adjusted mic to approx 45% volume bar on Skype....(these did not solve problem)
Turned Rightsound on/off
Adjusted multiple combinations Audio and Video settings under "Quick Capture" area of the webcam software
Any help is appreciated..... Thank You !
