    Monitor - hdmi possible?

I have this monitor Acer X223W 22 Widescreen LCD Monitor - 1680x1050, 2500:1, 5ms, DVI, VGA, (Refurbished) at TigerDirect.com and am wondering if I can get an hdmi adapter and if it would improve the resolution.

Mine is not refurb - please scroll down and click specs. ( on link)

    Thanks,

    Paul

Thanks, but I'm not interested in replacing at the moment.
Just wanted to know if I could improve the performance with this one.

Can't believe that your link is $60 cheaper than the one I have.

I removed my post because I thought you were considering buying the one you noted. I misread it.

What are you currently using? I would use the DVI connector if possible. You will see no difference between HDMI and DVI at that resolution.

    Thanks for that.
Any advice on my question with regard to my monitor?

I'm using the VGA - If I use the DVI on monitor, where do I connect to comp?

If you are using a video card, plug it in there, if you are using the on-board video, plug it in the DVI port on the motherboard.

This is a picture from Newegg of the Asus P8Z77-V motherboard, here is where you plug the DVI connector in.

How embarrassing! The DVI port is right next to the VGA port. - my bad.

Anyway, would it be better than the current VGA connection?
