Why? If you allow that......nothing can prevent the problems you described.

Make a guest account for them, and let them use that:

ok and how do i prevent usb access to guest account.
I do know how to enable guest account i tried that but then all data is accessible and allowed to be copied from that account too
and usb's are also detected.

My main concern is to stop all my usb ports (like they are turned off forever and are opened only when i do some changes somewhere)

If you already had the USB device plugged in, or not.

Hi there
"Low tech" method might be OK -- try Physically locking the laptop in your desk or other place inaccessible to others. If you don't have a lockable desk - what about a simple rucksack with a padlock and chain - and physically lock the bag to some immoveable object.

I've spent lots of time in Youth Hostels etc all over the world -- "Low tech" often works best in these circumstances. !!!

Too many youngsters (and not so youngsters) are reasonably "tech savy" to get round typical "admin" locks etc if they have to - but given the general appalling state of modern education a lot of them haven't a clue about how to deal with "Old Tech" type problems such as picking strong padlocks etc.

Cheers
