IF you Click on the Start Button, Then click on "Device and Printers."
Can you see Camera listed as a device?.
In most cases, Software will come pre-installed on your laptop, to enable you to take pictures etc etc,
Have you tried checking the start - all programs list to see if anything is listed Camera related.
IF not, Try Skype, to check if the camera is functioning, Then it's a case of finding some software for your Camera.
