I have an HP Deskjet D2600 hooked up to a Linksys PSUS4. Even though it's not on the print server's compatibility list, it still works fine... initially.
When I add the printer to my computer, setup goes smoothly. I create the TCP/IP port for it, LPR protocol, and install the driver I installed with the disc that came with the printer. It works great, until I restart my computer.
After a restart, the printer is greyed out, and will not print anything. If I remove the printer, and reinstall, it works fine. Some googling revealed that I need to add it as a local printer with a TCP/IP port, instead of a networked printer, but it does the same thing.
Any addition ideas would be appreciated.
Computer is a Dell Inspiron N4110 running Win 7 Pro x64.
Connecting through a WAP54G -> EZXS16W -> PSUS4 if that matters.
