This is being blown out of proportion now.........nobody is asking for a hanging on the courthouse lawn. We all said he was right, and it was a difference of opinions. Simple as that.

    My system:

    Intel i3-2105
    Asrock H61M-DGS
    2x4gig Corsair Vegeance dual set
    1TB Seagate Constellation
    Asus DVD-RW

Using onboard sound and in-chip graphics. I guess that's not much demand on the PSU. I have no idea how to compute the wattage.
Wrenches, you're totally A-OK. Enjoy your system. And please note that since companies moved their factories to China even the most "reputable" of manufacturers turn a batch of junk every now and then.

Don't get me started on China. I lived there - and have no desire to return. I don't like melamine in my milk or mercury in my skin-care products.

I think I figured out what my problem is.

I talked to my good internet friend incurablegeek via e-mail and he said it would be wise for me to tell you all what I told him. In a nutshell, I've been dealing with some health issues for several months now, and it's been harder these last couple of months than ever before. There are also things in my life that are falling apart just the same as my health is (including material things that I own). It just feels like my entire world is either caving in on me, or simply falling apart. So, I'm usually very irritable and depressed these days. I've finally become one of those people who tend to say "I hate everything". I thought that would never happen to me because I remember a time when I didn't understand that statement. I would be like, "What's the big deal?" Yeah, well now I know.

I didn't really figure this out until yesterday. I think that up until then I've been trying to fool myself into believing that I'm fine or something. I guess that's "denial". Either that, or I just hadn't really had any kind of a wake-up call. I'm still not sure, but the point is that I think I'm aware of something that I wasn't aware of before.

Anyway, I'm not saying that I agree with anyone who said that I am wrong. I'll fight that to the death because I know I'm right (I already posted the proof several times). However, I don't want to get into that again. I'm only here to say that I think this may be why I haven't been easy to deal with. So here's really why I'm posting: I sincerely apologize to everyone for probably ruining what was otherwise a beautiful day (I'm not talking about the weather either).

I'm feeling better already. Thank you, Dennis.

Thanks Tim, this won't help, but I think I have been where your are, having gone through 2 divorces and losing it all twice. My health is meh, but nothing serious, mostly being bald and fat.
Anyway, I apologize again for being too rough on you and we welcome you input. Be aware that I may still not agree with you.

I don't mind having people disagree with my opinions. That's fine and I expect that. However, I wasn't posting opinions; just facts.

Welcome back Twocables. Sorry to hear about your health, but I can identify with that. I'm just glad you are here and hope you stay for a while. No apology is nessary as far as I'm concerned and I seriously don't think one is necessary for anyone else. I hope everything improves for you. welcome back.

    Thank you, essenbe!

The only reason why I wanted to quit is that I felt I probably ruined my reputation beyond repair. Fortunately, something happened that caused me to explain my situation to Dennis and he wisely advised me to talk about it here. I'm already feeling better, and I think he knew I would be.

You backed up your statements with facts and you clearly have a good grasp on things........disagreements and misunderstandings happen. Reputation is as good as anybody elses on here......we all have crappy days.

Glad to hear you are feeling better.

As far as I'm concerned, you haven't even damaged your reputation much less ruined it. I have disagreed with a lot of people here who I consider friends. At some point we just had to agree to disagree. But, we're still friends and we still respect each other's opinion. Besides, I think most of us have said you were probably technically correct, an I think you were. But, you have to understand OCD people like me. If I decide I want to do something, I'll do it, whether it is right or not. Right Gary.
