SSD Installation failed to boot (0xc000000e ). Plz Help!

Hello, I am a computer rookie, so please forgive my ignorance.

I just bought a new Lenovo T430s and a Samsung 840 Pro SSD. Cloned the system by using Norton Ghost (First cloned the hidden disk, then Windows 7 disk) as the manual (Samsung 830 manual) said. Then put the HDD out and put the SSD in. However, the windows failed to boot

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix...
    Status: 0xc000000e
Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.

I checked the internet and just could understand some basic operations. For example, I entered into bios and saw
    SATA Controller Mode option [AHCI]

Did not find any "Storage config" option... in the main menu. Also, I pressed F12 to the boot menu and selected Samsung 840 Pro but still no work.

Anyone can help me. As I said, I am a computer rookie and really need your detailed help. Thanks in advance.

On your Lenovo T430s while the laptop is booting up . On the Lenovo splash screen press F1 to get to the UEFI screen. In the main menu you should see Config . Under Config you should see Serial ATA (SATA) make sure it shows AHCI which it should be by default.

I personally wouldn't trust a clone hdd. I'd rather do a clean install on a SSD. Clean Install Windows 7 and take a look here for a install of windows 7 with UEFI UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) - Install Windows 7 with

Have you tried the Data Migration Tool (Software) (ver.1.1) from the Samsung website ? Just to let you know the Samsung Data Migration Tool Doesn't backup your recovery partition. Just the System Reserve and Windows Partition of your old hard drive.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I already checked the SATA, it was AHCI. I used Norton Ghost to clone my System Reserve and Win7 disk. I will try Samsung's software since I do not have a Win7 DVD.
