    Logitech G510 issue

Hey guys I've had my g510 for a while and all this time the folowing ssues have been occuring and I can find any solutions on the internet.
Ok problem one:I can't use the keyboard to get into the bios/edit things within the bios as it doesn't work untill the OS is booted
Problem 2: I have to keep a mic/microphone jack pluged into the keyboard at all times or it will not alow me to use any of the keys or the lcd display and this can only be resolved if I unplug and replug it in the usb port and put the mic/headphone jack in (this is an issue because I use an usb headset now)
Any help would be great -Silver

Some motherboard manufacturers have bios fules that don't recognize some ganing keyboards. I have a g510 and that happened to me with one motherboard I had. The next bios upgrade fixed it. The Logitech drivers don't loag until Windows loads, but the keyboard should function as a regular keyboard without them.

As for the second problem, I have no clue. I have never had that happen. I rarely use a headset. Have you called logitech support about it? They may be of more help. They were very good with me when I had issues with my G500 mouse.
