    Raise Tower off Ground

Hi, I'm looking for something that I can place a tower, almost any size and weight to raise it up off the ground a few inches, for example if there is water, it can't get inside the tower etc, any suggestions ?

    Hello Jerome,

Other than using a few blocks of wood, they have some nice inexpensive computer tower stands available that should do the trick.

The links below can help give you a better idea about them.

    Google

    and

    Hope this helps, :)

I used an old unused wooden shelf for mine (8" x 36" or so) I cut off about 6" from one end and then cut that in half, and attached them as legs with a couple of screws. Also added a couple of felt pads to the bottom seeing as it sits on a hardwood floor.

Total cost, $0 or close enough to it.

Thanks Brink, I'm not a carpenter, unfortunately. Strictly a computer / graphics guru that is all I can help people with :) Oh I love model trains, don't have a set, yet when I get older :)

I would love to have a model train but I don't have a place to put one.

Try searching on NewEgg or Amazon for computer stand.

If you live close to Home Depot or Lowes, buy a couple of concrete blocks and a wood shelf to fit on top of them. Make sure the wood shelf is a little over the length and width of the tower. Cheap diy

Use your imagination. You can use a store bought stand or any thing you can think of.
