    CD/DVD Drive not working

    Hello Sir,
i am facing problems with my cd/dvd drive. It is unable to read any cd/dvd and whenever i insert any cd/dvd in the system, it pops up the new CD wizard asking for options whether i want to use it as a CD or as a flash drive. Please help.
    Thank You.

You can also try going into device manager and disable the optical drive, then delete the driver reboot your pc and see if that helps

if suppose i do so and i do not have the driver setup separately, then will the driver be installed by itself (in win 7) ?

Usually Windows will detect your device and install the driver you can always take a note of your dvd drive model
