Windows 7: Phantom Floppy

Phantom Floppy

I don't have a floppy drive connected to the ASUS P5Q motherboard, yet, both Windows 7 and my old XP insist on listing it in both Windows Explorer, and device manager.

Disabling and/or removing it only results in New Hardware found on the next boot.

Any ideas?

In your BIOS, disable the floppy drive.
