Sorry guys things have been hectic lately pulled a mirical move of packing an entire move of all my things with in 3.5 hours so its been nuts, oh and that was with me having to go to work the next day and still manageing to get to bed on time, usually a move with as much as I got takes at least two days, but I will be trying to check the things you suggested, and as for the SSD I do believe the data cabel is in port 1, will recheck as I did add a few new cables and optical drives, as for the ACSI not sure I assume it is, as I never touch the bios (and I always heard it as post on self test or POST) but thats another story. anyways I would be interested in knowing how to either check and set it or at least to check it.

Ok figured I would update you guys, every thing has been stable and every thing from the windows logo (I believe where the BIOS hands off to the software) works very nicely, I have since added a second drive (SSD) and put games on it with glass like performance so Im quite happy, so far no hitches and its been about two years or so with them in, possibly a bit longer!

Thanks everyone who contributed and helped reassure me I was doing well with going SSD!

Is performance affected by dual booting?
Hello! Just a quick question of if I was to dual boot another OS with windows 7 such as windows 8 or Ubuntu, would it have any ill effects on performance? I'm fully aware that they boot from different partitions and don't both run at the same time. However. I remember hearing that it can...

Any concerns with Mini-ITX?
I'm planning on building a new low power system for WHS 2011. I have the RAID card and drives already. Are there any concerns I should be aware of in using a Mini-ITX board over a normal ATX or Micro-ATX board? I've built hundreds of systems, but never with Mini-ITX. I know I need a proper...

Network concerns.
I pulled up Resmon this morning and was quite surprised at my network activity. This is what I get at idle, with IE closed and no updates running. Is this normal?

Raid 5 Concerns
I am running a HP A6750F that I purchase a year ago with Vista 64bit. I have installed a Highpoint RocketRaid 26401 running a Raid 5 with 3 TB drives. My question is those that may have experience going from Vista64 to Windows 7 x 64 with a RAID Controller in play. Are there any issues with the...

Windows 7 upgrade concerns
I just bought this PC last week, it is running Win 7 Home Premium. In the past, I've always ran Pro versions, beginning with Win 2K Pro, XP Pro. I still have the laptops that I dual boot between the two on. But I noticed somewhere on this PC that you can do a simple online upgrade in as little as...
